.. An old lady with pink hair asked me to walk her small, white poodle. I walked the poodle onto the top of a hill, and started swinging it around on the leash until we both turned into worms, and rapidly rolled down the hill. We splashed into a current of mud, where other worms were there. "What are you doing?" I said (my worm self). "We're hiding from the monsters!" the other worm said, then we all pretended to be dead while a herd of Rhino's stampeded through the mud.

Turning into worms is a metaphore for dying, (becoming wormsmeat) the other worms are other dead folks, hence playing dead, the monsters are the demons sent to torment the dead, and the rhinos, they are just rhinos,

When you get to the top of the hill you and the dog metamophise into different creatures - just lowly earthworms, but you are thinking speaking worms aware of what is going on.
