The sponge rollers are supposed to have a little snap thing. They are not good if you want to curl a lot of hair at the same time or if your hair is very thick.

You need to make sure you have them close to the head and sections that are the same size as the rollers. Make sure the clip goes over the top of your section and clips right at the scalp. If you clip it in the middle of underneath it will fall out to that part.

You can secure them by using either alligator clips, or the long silver clips like they use in salons. The best place to get either is at a beauty supply store which sells to the public, such as Sally's. You might want to take one of your rollers with you, to make sure they understand what you're using; I have always found their salespeople to be very helpful. If you don't have a Sally's or other beauty supply open to the public in your area, you can probably get the clips at WalMart, KMart, Target, etc., but they will be a little more expensive and perhaps not the same quality.

I can relate to your question, Goody Rollers actually are not good hair rollers, due to the fact that the rod comes apart or want stay close. Look for another manufacture, that how I found your question, searching for sponge rollers other than Goody products due to this fact. Hopefully Goody will see this and do something about this poorly made product that's not worth the money we paid.
